1 Chronicles 29:11, Psalm 66:5-7, Ephesians 1:18-21
INTRODUCTION
Power is the capacity to influence outcomes. God is powerful because He possesses unlimited power to influence outcomes in accordance with His word. He is self-sufficient and does not rely on man. He has always existed, from the very beginning.
Power is also defined as the force that compels compliance (Psalm 66:3). The fulfillment of destiny depends on the power available to enforce compliance.
Implications of the days of his power
The Days of Abiding in His Presence
The "days of His power" refer to the days of abiding in His presence until the weight of His glory and power rests upon us (Luke 24:49). During these times, we remain with expectation, waiting, and looking forward to receiving from Him. We must be determined to stay and wait, as activity is not necessarily progress. Power and wisdom are imparted in the place of staying. The secret to making progress is remaining until we are empowered (Acts 1:8).
The Days of the Manifestations of the Sons of God
Jesus is declared the Son of God with power, and it is this power that validates our sonship (Romans 1:4). According to Romans 8:19-21, the assignment of the sons of God is to deliver creation from corruption. A son is someone who, through wisdom, has been elevated to a state of maturity where they can stand in the stead of the Father in all things (1 John 3:1, Ephesians 3:10).
The Days of Mighty Works through the Wisdom of God
These are the days of mighty works accomplished through the wisdom of God (Mark 6:1-2). The fruits of wisdom are evident in the building of structures and the creation of things that lead to extraordinary works. By the wisdom of God, believers are called to produce works of excellence that reflect His glory (Matthew 5:16). We are not permitted to produce bad or low-quality work; instead, we are expected to demonstrate extraordinary results and operate in dimensions of excellence.
The Days of Supernatural Outpouring
These are also the days of supernatural outpouring, granting access to higher levels of grace. Grace exists in varying levels, and the results it produces are proportional to the level of grace received. In these days, there is a transference of power from God to men, enabling them to operate in superior graces. These higher dimensions of grace bring men into realms of unlimited possibilities and extraordinary achievements.
Stepping Into the Days of Liberty
We are stepping into the days of liberty from all operations of the devil (Isaiah 61:1). In the days of His power, captives are set free, and the anointing is released to break every yoke (Acts 10:38). These days will see the emergence of deliverers, empowered by God to bring freedom to those in bondage. The light of God grants us authority to put an end to all forms of oppression.
Days of Miracles, Signs, and Wonders
These are also the days of miracles, signs, and wonders in their full variety. Such manifestations signify the coming of God’s kingdom. By implication, the family of God has encountered and experienced Him tangibly. The power component of these manifestations makes the message of the good news a complete gospel (Romans 15:19). Miracles, signs, and wonders serve as evidence of God's presence and His desire to transform lives.
Days of Massive Soul Winning and Ingathering
These are the days of massive soul winning and ingathering, as seen in Acts 2:5-7, 37-47. Evangelism brings a harvest of souls into the kingdom. However, every new believer in Christ is fragile and requires nurturing. The ingathering refers to the process of preserving and strengthening the faith of these new believers.
The ministry of soul winning and ingathering is a corporate responsibility shared by every child of God. Together, we are called to disciple, support, and equip new believers to grow in their faith and stand firm in Christ.
Days of Access to Supernatural Resources
These are also days of divine provision, granting us access to supernatural resources (1 Chronicles 29:1-9; Psalm 110:3). Without financial and human resources, the work of the kingdom cannot advance significantly.
When finances and resources are placed in the hands of visionaries who love God, they accomplish extraordinary things for His glory. Kingdom resources are entrusted to believers to do great works for the advancement of God’s kingdom. These resources, when managed with wisdom and purpose, can bring about lasting impact and transformation.
How to Connect to the Flow of Power – Five Keys
Believe the Sent Word
Be fully convinced that God has spoken to you. Faith in His word activates His promises in your life (Luke 1:45).
Contend for Higher Levels of Light
Seek greater spiritual understanding and knowledge. The higher your spiritual insight, the more power you can walk in. Spiritual growth is rooted in a deeper grasp of truth.
Expand Your Spiritual Capacity
Build your spiritual capacity through a consistent prayer life. This enhances your ability to perceive (discernment), receive, and retain divine truths (Jude 1:20; 1 Corinthians 14:4).
Hold Fast to Your Profession of Faith
Consistently declare your faith. Speak life and power over yourself:
I am in the days of power.
I am filled with the wisdom of God.
I am indomitable by the Spirit of the Lord upon me.
I am a well-watered garden.
I am the righteousness of God.
The seed of glory is planted in my life.
Focus your heart and mind on what God is doing, rather than your current circumstances (Hebrews 10:23; Philippians 4:8).
Take Actions of Obedience
Be determined to obey God’s instructions, principles, and conditions. Obedience unlocks the flow of power and leads to fulfillment of His promises (James 1:25; Hebrews 10:36).
